Run RoaDRain_Commercial_Setup_v1.0.0.exe. The per-user installation does not require administrator rights and creates desktop and Start menu shortcuts.

Quick guidance
The essential workflow.
First launch
Keep the computer online while RoaDRain prepares its private Python, GIS, and reporting runtime. This one-time step can take several minutes.
Trial
The limited trial activates automatically. Open License & Credits inside the app to see the remaining duration, project, road-length, GIS/hydrology, and AI allowances.
Licence activation
Open License & Credits, enter the email used for purchase and the RDN licence key, then select Activate license. The licence is limited to its permitted number of devices.
Project files
Save creates a portable .rdn project archive. Open restores a previously saved project. Earlier .roadrain archives remain supported for compatibility.
Downloaded outputs
Reports, Excel, KMZ, ZIP, and .rdn files are downloaded through the browser, normally to the Downloads folder unless the browser asks for a location.

Internet requirements
Local engineering, managed Serverless services.
Core uploaded-file processing, GIS, hydrology, and report preparation run on the customer computer. The following functions use the Hydroism Worker + D1 Gateway and require an internet connection.

Credit protection
Failed AI requests are not charged.
AI credits are reserved when a review starts. If the Hydroism gateway or upstream AI request fails, the reserved credits are returned automatically.
Before contacting support
Record the RoaDRain version, the exact error message, the stage where it occurred, and whether the Gateway status page is reachable. Do not send a full licence key, owner token, API key, or confidential project package through an unsecured channel.
