Browser access
Open https://roadrain.hydroism.com in a current Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari release. Enable JavaScript, downloads, and the map resources required by the workspace.
RoaDRain web-app support
The official browser and project reference for RoaDRain v2.9.2 Beta, covering Road Drainage, Watershed Hydrology, saved projects, inputs, outputs, and hosted services.
Quick guidance
Open https://roadrain.hydroism.com in a current Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari release. Enable JavaScript, downloads, and the map resources required by the workspace.
Use the Road Drainage workspace for an alignment-led corridor analysis. Save creates a portable .rdn project file; Open restores a compatible Road project.
Use the Watershed Hydrology workspace for outlet points or selected project areas. Save as .hdn preserves the Watershed project for later continuation.
Verify coordinate reference systems, geometry, terrain coverage, rainfall data, return periods, runoff assumptions, and project metadata before starting an analysis.
GIS layers, spreadsheets, charts, reports, and complete project packages download through the browser. Your browser's download settings determine the destination folder.
Treat every result as preliminary. Check warnings, map geometry, source data, hydrologic assumptions, retained basins, crossings, and indicative structures before professional use.
Internet requirements
RoaDRain is a hosted application. The following functions require a stable internet connection and may depend on external data or AI services.
Problem reporting
A useful support report identifies the module, RoaDRain version, browser, project stage, exact error, and whether the issue can be reproduced with a non-confidential sample.
Record the exact message and the action that triggered it. Do not send confidential project files, OpenAI keys, private service tokens, or sensitive client information through an unsecured channel.
